Award-winning architecture, timeless design, natural materials: the new LAGOM construction project in Herrsching am Ammersee has created a high-quality residential area “in harmony with nature” based on the Scandinavian model. EHRET folding sliding shutters add a special touch to the stylish wooden facades of the single-family and multi-family houses.
Water and forest provided the key inspiration for the design and choice of materials. Wooden slats are a defining stylistic element that runs across all facades. Large glass windows offer unobstructed views of nature and allow light to flood into the living spaces. Innovative technology and expertise from EHRET have enabled foldable sun protection to be integrated into the facade design.
Fitted with millimeter precision: 468 folding sliding shutter panels are in use: two-part folding sliding shutters made of rough-sawn wooden slats – a welded custom-made product consisting of filigree angle frames in combination with the rail-guided EFSL folding sliding fitting. When closed, the folding sliding shutters form a harmonious whole with the vertical lines of the facades. To achieve this, the arrangement of all components and the division of the wooden slat filling were adapted in detail to the planned joint pattern.
