Located on Arnulfstraße near Hirschgarten and Nymphenburg Palace Park, this multi-unit building, constructed in 2012/2013, houses a bank branch and a small shop on the ground floor, as well as rental apartments and an office unit on the upper floors. The building’s façade design is particularly impressive.
The architects opted for a hard-wearing, durable, and sustainable façade design with floor-to-ceiling fiber cement panels, high-quality wood/aluminum soundproof windows, and robust EHRET folding sliding shutters. The soundproof windows provide protection from disturbing noise. Their narrow, tall format allows plenty of light into the living spaces.
The folding sliding shutters were covered with fiber cement panels. They are made of the same material as the facade, creating a lively yet harmonious facade appearance. Depending on whether the shutters are open or closed, the facade can be changed three-dimensionally and always looks different. EHRET folding sliding shutters can be opened and closed across the entire width to save space. In addition to their high functionality, they also impress with their aesthetics. They offer sound, weather, and sun protection and have a decisive influence on the facade of a building.
