Minimalist meets natural: wood-look shutters
give modern facades an individual look.

In a rural Provence community in the middle of a Natura 2000 protected area, this modern house blends sensitively into a remarkable natural landscape, combining clean lines with mineral sobriety. When it came to privacy and heat protection, the decision was made to forego standard roller shutters in favor of window shutters with a natural wood look.

EHRET equipped the house with its Nature product range: wooden sliding shutters with simple lines, designed to accentuate the façade while offering smooth operation and lasting comfort. The wood evokes the living material, blending naturally into the protected landscape and giving the house its own style and character.

Thanks to its natural resistance, the NATURE Larch model can be installed outdoors without treatment. The 4-meter-high window front is equipped with four sashes featuring 100 mm wide openwork slats, which are designed to suit the southwestern orientation of the living spaces. The result: effective sun protection that preserves privacy without darkening the interior. The slats promote natural cross ventilation. A discreet, aesthetic, and sustainable system that enhances the façade while improving well-being inside.
