EHRET folding shutters as the link between comfortable modernity
and visual authenticity.

In an age of rapidly advancing technology, innovation, and artificial intelligence, there is a growing desire for simplicity, naturalness, and authenticity. These are all characteristics that are reflected in the rural architecture of the Allgäu region. And like no other building element, shutters in particular emphasize the traditional architectural style of these houses.

A prime example of this is the farmhouse in Argenbühl, which was fitted with EHRET folding shutters as part of a facade redesign. The decision was made to use strong color and material contrasts: the first and second floors were rebuilt on top of the existing white-plastered ground floor of the former barn, and gray wood paneling was added to the gable end to emphasize the rural style. Typical of many farmhouses in Baden-Württemberg, this originally served as weather protection.

A dark red tone was chosen for the JS folding shutter model with fixed slats, a fine-textured powder coating with a high degree of mattness that closely resembles a high-quality painted surface and thus the look of a wooden folding shutter. EHRET folding shutters thus represent a link between modern comfort and visual authenticity.
