The QUALICOAT guidelines guarantee the quality of the pretreatment, the coating and the coating technology as well as the correct application of the coating materials for processing aluminium in the architectural sector. The quality requirements are tested and ensured with various mechanical and chemical test procedures. The test procedures simulate the ageing processes caused by weather conditions.
The QUALIDECO quality mark also defines, monitors and tests the quality of decorative surface coatings (e.g. wood) on aluminium.
